Information: Dr. Norwood is Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at North Carolina State University. The use of multiple representations of functions to assess a student's conceptual understanding of the function concept and the use of technology in the teaching of mathematics are the focus of her current research endeavors. Published in several professional journals and author of K-16 curriculum materials for various publishing companies, she is currently writing a series of K-6 mathematics textbooks. Dr. Norwood received her Ed.D. from Temple University .
