UNC-Charlotte Summer Workshop

  • Registration is closed for Summer 2011
  • What: Determiniistic Modeling and Probabiliity and Decision Making Siummer 2011 Workshops.  Teachers can attend one or both workshops.
  • Dates
Deterministic Modeling - June 14 - 17th
Probability and Decision Making - June 21 - 24th
  • Time: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Daily
  • Description: Teachers can choose to take one or both workshops. Preference will be given to teachers coming with a colleague from their school.
  • The Deterministic Workshop is a 4-day course that will cover Multi-Attribute Utility Theory, Linear Programming, Location problems and Integer Programming. Other Deterministic topics may also be covered time permitting.
  • The Probabilistic Workshop is a 4-day course that will cover Decision Trees, Basic Probability, Binomial, Geometric and Normal Distributions. May also include Quality Control, Bayes Theorem, PERT, Markov and Queuing if time permitting.
  • Teacher Benefits:  Teachers can earn CEUs by attending the workshop.
