PDF Print E-mail

Broadly considered, Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) is an engineering discipline which seeks to create integrated systems and improve upon the performance of these systems. Operations Research (OR) plays a central role in ISE by providing critical analytical tools for understanding and designing industrial systems which necessarily comprise very large numbers of variables. Problems in ISE range from optimizing production capabilities to manufacturing processes and human ergonomic concerns.
